Can we talk about how some people might think this might be based off the "Super-Dimension Fortress" because of the name, and then be royally disappointed to find out that it is just a space tractor?

Ha! I was half expecting it to be a dreadnought or something, but it's a frigate. A danger tractor with guns. Honestly i'm half expecting it to be reworked into a BB or Dread. Sort of a Second Phase to reward people who haven't given up on little Macross.
That would be funny, but unfortunately it's unlikely we'll ever see ships of that type again as the Preos series of ships proved to have obtainable in an undesirable manner as it took an excessive amount of time to obtain the later variants of the ship. Maybe there will eventually be a reference to the actual fortress in-game.
