This is the strategy of tricking someone into falling for some kind of trap you have set up in order to pirate their ship, and this is most commonly done with Warp Traps; a type of trap set up to take advantage of someone's vulnerability because they are unable to warp, due to being on cool-down from just having exited warp. While baiting can be done easily at a basic level, it is difficult to do so in a way that it is not obvious to one observing that they are probably being led into a trap.
