Hi, I'm shooter7620; a former active player of Galaxy. I'll play it from time to time but generally refrain from doing so because of how time-consuming it is to play the game when there isn't much fun to be had(in my opinion). Before I stopped playing Galaxy often, I used to lose [[:Category:Capital Ship|capital ships]] fairly often. Anyways, with that out of the way why don't I get started with my presence on the wiki?

I first found the Fandom version of the Galaxy Wiki, when I looked at the in-game bulletin boards. Back then in late beta, you didn't have much information available to you easily on ships; so I went there to see if I could find good information. To my surprise, there was actually decent information on the wiki. I did stop playing the game after that for a good while though, so when I came back to the game in Gamma and to check the Wiki again; I was surprised at the lack of up to date information on the wiki(probably from all the people who quit from the very controversial economy update in Gamma, reference the [[Update Log]] page versions .69 through .70 if you wish to know more), which ended up motivating me to start doing a little editing on the wiki to try to help out.

I contribute to the wiki, mostly to keep ship page information up-to-date. I will sometimes edit other types of articles though, if I find the time to do so.
