You may be wondering why this showed up on a page. It is there if a specific excerpt of content in a page requires a citation (i.e. an outlined source for the information used in the aforementioned content), which may be necessitated when editing pages like player faction pages (also known as clans), biographies, etc. For a more detailed explanation on adding citations, please see Ships Formatting Policy: References List.
