Limited Ship

This ship is a limited ship, and could only be acquired for a limited time or it has since become limited.
You lose it forever once it is destroyed, or otherwise has limited availability on the Limited Build Menu.

The Crescendo is a recolor of the Hellkeeper boss available to players.

Description

The Crescendo is a pink, dreadnought version of the Hellkeeper featuring an almost identical loadout, with weaker turrets. It excels at shield breaking, and can be obtained only through a quest, which refers to it as "Hollow Vessel".

Interior

The interior is simple, being a purple brick box with a seat, and a sarcastic wall of text commenting on the lack of detail in the interior. The sentence "Welcome to box interior, Halloween special" is a joke referring to the first half of the line appearing in the Halkaryak's interior as well.

Advantages

• High health.
• Extremely high damage to shield.
• Very fast for a dreadnought.
• Surprisingly accurate turrets.
• Turrets have above-average range.
• Extremely high explosion radius, the same explosion radius as Deity.

Disadvantages

• Despite being the only cannon turret, its Ultima is very weak.
• Lopsided health pool, weighed towards shields.
• Extremely large target: larger than some super capitals.
• Turrets are mostly on the top.
• Very expensive for a dreadnought.
• It will be targeted as it is a limited ship.
• All turrets are on top, which makes the ship have a big blind spot below.

Strategy

• Only use this ship in fleets as it can be destroyed very easily when alone. If you are going to siege a base, make sure not to tank damage due to the loadout of Starbases being primarily shield-based.
• When fighting another player, prioritize staying above them, where all of your turrets can fire. Retreat when low on shield.
• Pair up with a Zillavik's hull-breaking capabilities to form an unstoppable duo.

• Top Speed increased to 100 in version .74b14.

Trivia

• Despite this being the same size as Hellkeeper, this ship is a dreadnought instead of a super capital.
• The first person to lose this ship was silenthunter7777 to a Dissonance. However, the ship was bugged, leading to its death.
• The ship appears to be a very loose reference to Interstella 5555, due to the max hull amount, and also that the name of the band in the film is "The Crescendolls". However, this is unconfirmed.
