Siege ships fall into this general category due to their ability to attack and destroy enemy Starbases. Most or all Dreadnoughts fall into this category due to the general firepower and health of the class, but some, like the Apocalypse, Zeus, Cyclops, Ridgebreaker, and Sagittarius, among others, are designed almost entirely to support this role. Many Battleships also fall into this category due to their ability to support or take on limited sieges themselves. Some Frigates and Destroyers can also act as siege ships due to their ability to distract the long-range turrets of enemy Starbases.
